Softgel Process Equipment

CapPlus Technologies offers a host of softgel manufacturing equipment to suit your needs, from small R&D softgel encapsulation machines to larger R3 softgel encapsulation machines. We will match your encapsulation requirements to the appropriate melting, mixing and transfer tanks, homogenizers, pulverizors and colloid mills. Below is some of the equipment you made need for your softgel plant.

Step 1.  Melting Tanks

Step 2.  Medicine and Gel Transfer Tanks

Melting tanks are used to melt the gelatin formulation to the exact temperature and consistancy required to produce the gelatin ribbon on the softgel encapsulation machine.

Melting tanks run from 50 liter up to 1600 liters and can be cusomized for even larger sizes depending on your needs.

Medicine and gel transfer tanks range from 50 to 300 liter and can similarly be customized for larger sizes.

The tanks are all stainless steel, double jacketed construction, with sanitary stainless valves and clamps. They are mounted on casters for portability with bottom discharge valves.

Step 3. Softgel Machine

Step 4. Tumble dryers

Softgel machines range in size and speed from the 2" softgel used for research and development to the "Worlds Fastest Softgel Machine", our own R3. All R Series have remote access ethernet connection for technical support

CapPlus Technologies can help you find out which softgel machine fits your needs best.

Tumble Dryers vary in size depending on the speed needed to dry your softgel products. Tumble dryers can be as small as a single tumble dryer or as large as multi-stacked versions.

Softgel Scale
A viscometer is used for the assessment of both gelatin bloom strength and gelatin viscosity.
Microscopes are used in preformulation and formulation development of your softgel product. Softgel scales are used as a highly accurate check weigher for your softgel production.
